Unitierra Japón is a voluntary, free-of-charge unincorporated academic association inspired by Universidad de la Tierra en Oaxaca ( http://unitierraoax.org ). We, voluntary academic researchers and students based in Japan, are aimed at creating new, live knowledge applicable in the field, through exercising graduate-level social science researches and social activities that contribute to regional sustainable developments, in both collaborative and critical ways.

To achieve the above goal, we are conducting the following activities:

1) Organizing research conferences, lectures, workshops, seminars, and book-reading groups
2) Online publishment of research findings
3) Networking with related domestic/overseas organizations and individuals
4) Assisting new researchers and civic activists
